2007

Sister company, Bigent, acquired which provides a range of fabrication services to support our on site works, as well as precision engineering and precision grinding services to industry.

Ice Blasting capability established to support works on London Underground.

2006

GM Rail Services Head Office and S&T Engineering Training and Assessment Centre relocated to larger premises and expanded to include track courses; school re-launched as GM Rail’s Railway Engineering School.

GM Rail Services commences initial work on the London Underground undertaking signalling installation for the Heathrow Terminal 5 extension.

ISO 14001 : 2004 Awarded

2005

GM Rail Services works in every Network Rail Area as part of the TPWS+ contract area.

GM Rail’s Signal Engineering Training School and Assessment Centre expanded to include railway telecommunications courses.

2004

GM Rail Services head office transfers to Rugby.

‘Recognition of Excellence in Safety Performance’ awarded by Network Rail to GM Rail Services for its part in the Stockport Renewals Blockade.

2003

Rugby Signal Engineering Training School & Assessment Centre established.

GM Rail Services incorporated, trading commences based in East London.
